“Mumbles Wave” Hand Woven Tapestry

£200.00

Highlights:

2009 400mm x 640mm.

The wave hitting these rocks was in a place called Bracelet Bay, on the Gower Peninsula, where the Mumbles lighthouse is.

I took the photograph for this tapestry on a stormy day in July 2008, where the waves were crashing against the rocks.

Weaving the pebbles was a challenge, it would have been a lot easier to have done sand, but the result is very pleasing.
